Are you a travel enthusiast and looking for an escape from your normal day to day life ? Then we at elia holidays kashmir have prepared a perfect 10 days and 09 nights kashmir travel itinerary for you and your loved ones in which all the major as well as famous destinations of kashmir are being covered whether it is the snow capped peaks of sonmarg kashmir or the world famous Gulmarg cable car we have figured out a Perfect escape plan for you and your loved ones.
Starting on your day one you will be greeted by our driver at the Srinagar international airport and after a short getting’s session you will be taken to your hotel in Srinagar where you can check in and shortly after that you will head towards the famous Mughal gardens that have been made by the famous Mughal emperors. Here you will enjoy and relax for next 3-4 hours and eventually in the evening our driver will transfer you back to famous dal-lake where you will have a complimentary Shikara ride from our end and after that our driver will bring you back to your stay in Srinagar where you can have your dinner before concluding your first day in kashmir.
On the second day of your 10 days and 09 nights kashmir travel itinerary you will be heading towards Pahalgam on the way to Pahalgam you can witness various places like the famous Pampore Saffron Fields or the famous Kashmir bat factories and eventually in the late afternoon you will reach Pahalgam where you will be taken to your hotel shortly you will check-into your hotel and after that you will have your dinner before the day ends.
On the next day we will be taken by our driver to the main taxi stand of Pahalgam where a complimentary Union cab awaits you from our end. This union cab will take you to Aru valley , Betaab valley and Chandanwari and the travel time will take 4-5 hours and finally in the evening after you have came back from ABC valley Pahalgam our driver will take you from the main taxi stand to your hotel in Pahalgam where you can have your dinner with your loved ones before concluding another day.
Next day we will be heading towards Gulmarg from Pahalgam which is almost 130 kilometers from the main Pahalgam and the travel time will take 04-06 hours ( depending upon the traffic ) and in the late afternoon you will reach Gulmarg where you can enjoy activities like Gulmarg Cable car ride , Atv ride , Pony ride and more and after a day filled with adventure you will be heading to your stay in Either Tangmarg or Gulmarg { depending upon the package taken } and finally in the evening you will have a delightful dinner with your loved ones before completing another day in kashmir.
Right on the list we have Sonmarg with a night stay, yes you heard that right on the fifth day of your kashmir trip you will be heading towards Sonmarg kashmir from Gulmarg itself, which means in the early hours you will be checking out from your stay in Tangmarg / Gulmarg and you will be transferred by our driver from Gulmarg to Sonmarg the distance will be approximately 125 kilometers and the travel time will take 3-4 hours, in the Afternoon you will reach Sonmarg where you will be staying tonight. The driver will take you to the main taxi stand from where you can take a Pony towards Thajwas Glacier and you can do other activities like Atv ride and more and finally in the evening you will head towards your hotel in Sonmarg where you will be staying tonight.
On the next day you will be checking out from your hotel in Sonmarg and our driver will bring you back to your stay in Srinagar where you will be relaxing for today, Fun-fact you can visit lal-chowk in the evening hours in order to witness the hustle bustle of local kashmir.
Right on the list we have a day trips to Doodhpathri , Yusmarg and Aharbal waterfalls , all of these destinations have a unique charm in itself and are having a significance in itself you will be visiting these places for a day trips with night stays back in Srinagar in the evening.
On the last day of your kashmir trip you can visit the local markets of kashmir from where you can purchase handi craft items belonging to kashmir and after some shopping our driver will transfer you to Srinagar international airport from where you will be heading back towards your respective homes with beautiful memories.
Upon arrival at Srinagar International Airport, you will be greeted warmly by our driver. After a brief introduction, proceed to explore Srinagar’s timeless Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (Garden of Joy), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies), and Chashme Shahi (Royal Spring). These gardens boast stunning terraced lawns, vibrant flowers, and serene fountains. Later, enjoy a complimentary Shikara ride on Dal Lake’s tranquil waters, offering mesmerizing views of houseboats and floating markets against the backdrop of the Zabarwan Mountains. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pahalgam (90 km, approximately 3 hours). Along the way, marvel at Pampore’s saffron fields and explore the ancient Awantipora Ruins. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check into your hotel and spend the day exploring this charming hill station, famous for its lush meadows and the Lidder River. Enjoy riverside strolls or capture photographs of the picturesque surroundings. In the evening, shop for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts before a delightful dinner.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of the iconic ABC Valley—Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari. A complimentary union cab will be provided for your convenience. Aru Valley’s pristine meadows and Betaab Valley’s cinematic landscapes are perfect for photography and nature walks. Chandanwari, known as a starting point for the Amarnath Yatra, offers breathtaking snow-capped views. Post breakfast, check out and head to Gulmarg (140 km, approximately 4 hours). Known as the "Meadow of Flowers," Gulmarg is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax before exploring the area. Opt for a Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak, offering panoramic views of the snow-clad Himalayas. In winter, enjoy skiing, while summer invites you to lush green landscapes. End your day with dinner and a cozy stay.
After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg (130 km, approximately 4 hours), the "Meadow of Gold." En route, enjoy the scenic Sindh River and charming villages. Upon arrival, explore Thajiwas Glacier for sledging, trekking, or pony rides. Immerse yourself in Sonmarg’s unspoiled beauty before heading back to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
Enjoy breakfast before departing Sonmarg for Srinagar (85 km, 3 hours). After checking into your Srinagar hotel, spend the day at leisure. Visit Dal Lake to experience its charm at sunset, indulge in a peaceful Shikara ride, or explore local markets for Kashmiri handicrafts like Pashmina shawls. End the day with dinner at your hotel.
Post breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Doodhpathri (42 km, 2 hours). Known as the "Valley of Milk," this hidden paradise offers lush meadows, crystal-clear streams, and pine-covered hills. Enjoy leisurely walks, riverside picnics, or simply soak in the serene atmosphere. Return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to Yusmarg (47 km, 2 hours), a serene destination surrounded by dense forests and snow-capped peaks. Take a relaxing walk through meadows, enjoy a riverside picnic, or opt for a horse ride. Return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and rest.
On the penultimate day, visit Aharbal Waterfall (70 km, 2-3 hours), known as the "Niagara Falls of Kashmir." Marvel at its powerful cascades and serene surroundings. Spend the day exploring and photographing this natural wonder before returning to Srinagar for dinner and relaxation.
